The dressmaking specialists are able to whip up wedding dresses in one to three weeks and are known as the miracle makers.

Manager Frances La-Caria (the Argentinian Angel) says the most important aspect to tailoring outfits whether it be day or evening wear, costumes or wedding dresses is to make sure it fits perfectly. "We pride ourselves on perfection and being creative and doing whatever the client wants."

Sew Quick are also able to mix and match design labels, depending on what the client requests. Alterations are done on the premises and customers are given the choice of different alterations at no extra cost.

When fitting a client with a fabric they have brought in, the dressmakers at Sew Quick use their own calico for the first fitting to ensure they've got the right measurements.

Sew Quick carries out alterations and reshaping of men's clothes, but is happy to make dresses for men if requested.

Normal hours of operation are from 9:00am to 5:30 Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 6:30pm Friday and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, but there is flexibility on these times by prior arrangement.
